If the flyers are that easy, I say we do that right away. Best chance to catch attention. Where's the creative design team?

I think the idea of having the first meeting time/location AND the email signup info is great. Give em all they need to get started. It should go in cube and on flyers

Pics of us--something like the now ancient collage I made in IT 071.  Copies of our schedule with website and emails on it and how to sign up for the email listing.  A board that says "Next Rehearsal/Game @ XX:XX at PLACE.  Something people could see and would know where we were at to join.  Link to website/forum.  Maybe something that says "Do you like free credits?"  Might grab peoples attention as walking by...

If someone gets the poster frame, I could make another collage.  I have pics and I know others do as well.  We could upload them to the same place and then I could get them printed and assembled.  I can print them at Sams Club for cheap. (For those that had pics to upload, I'd give the login and password to put them in the album.)  I'd be able to work on the collage after Hank's birthday next week.  Let me know.

Actually thats the easiest part. If i fill out one paper and present it to the student involvement office they have to approve it and within 5 days they will put upto 200 flyers all around campus

Do you know how many times it took me to post this?!?!  ONCE!  This level of efficiency is unacceptable!  I thought you tech guys were supposed to get paid to know this stuff.  fail. Wink

Sorry 'bout that.. we'll crank up the network delay factor and pour some maple syrup on the disk drives.  It won't happen again.

Pictures of the band in action, a basketball schedule, and general "pep" paraphernalia would be one idea. Get some of those pom poms up there. Maybe some sheet music lying around.

I know they only way I found out about the band was going to a game. What would it take to plaster campus with flyers? Cavanaugh has lots of flyer space. Something students see on their own time when they are just passing by

So we now have a desk in the "cube" in the campus center. Its located on the 3rd floor in the Student Involvement office. Its the area right about the starbucks.  At this desk we can put whatever we feel is necassary to convey our goals as an organization. If anyone has any suggestions on how to decorate or anything please post here. Over the next week or two I will be slowly setting up everything. If anyone wants to help please let me know (1-317-908-6511)

As well this is late notice but there is another meet and greet with all the student organizations and new students are encouraged to come by. Its from 10AM-2PM tomorrow. In the cube. We would just need to man our desk and be able to answer questions for anyone that asks.

With this desk space and being a student organization there is alot of oppurtunity for us to get our name out on campus and reach out to the students that didnt know that IUPUI had a band. So anyone wanting to help out with anything will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chuck

My microwave stopped working... Is that because you changed servers?

Please change it back as I have some burritos needing to be cooked
